CREATING YOUR PINTEREST BOARD

Thank you for taking time to thoroughly complete your questionnaire.

Now that you’ve cast a vision for the work we’re about to begin with the answers in your questionnaire, it’s time to put images to the descriptive words you used to further illustrate the story you wish to tell. It's important for both of us to understand your personal style and what you want your wardrobe to look like before we clean out your closet. Because you and I may hold a different meaning for the descriptive words you’ve used, this last step of creating a Pinterest board is crucial to communicating what styles captivate and inspire you most.

I'll be looking for 30-50 images of outfits you're most drawn to for the current season.

Before you begin, review the part of your questionnaire that describes the woman you picture on the other side of this experience. What does she wear? For weekends? For work? As you search for images on Pinterest, don’t get bogged down by questions of whether something will fit or flatter you specifically. Simply pin the outfits you’re drawn to most, and I’ll do the rest of the work.

Here’s several ideas to help you get started on Pinterest as you search for the styles that will represent you best:

If you're into a specific style, such as skirts or dresses, use that in your search. For example, you can use the search: "skirt styles for women," "skirt styles for women over 30," "skirt styles spring 2023," "long skirt styles for spring," etc.

Using your age in a search is particularly helpful! Feel free to search for a specific style and add "over 20," "over 30," or "over 50" in the search.

If you have a favorite clothing brand, install the Pinterest browser button to pin images from your favorite retailer's website to your board to use as inspiration. You can pin images from around the web! Go here for instructions on how to install the browser button.

Use the current season to narrow down the search. You can insert "spring," "summer," "fall," or "winter" to get to the seasonal looks you like more quickly.

Feel free to use descriptive words in your search such as "feminine," "classic," "edgy," "unique," etc.

Remember, it may take time to find images you love, but once you pin an image or two, Pinterest will catch on quickly and start showing you more images in a similar style! Stay picky as you go through this exercise and only pin the looks you love.
